13th July – Total of 150 students from North Borneo University College (NBUC) participated in a 3-days community service program titled “Kelestarian Zoo: Gotong-Royong Mahasiswa Prihatin” at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park from 11th to 13th July 2025. The initiative focused on environmental sustainability and allowed students to take part in cleaning and maintenance activities throughout the zoo.
The collaboration created a meaningful experience for both the students and the zoo staff, fostering greater awareness of wildlife conservation while strengthening the spirit of volunteerism. The program also provided students with valuable knowledge and memorable experiences outside the classroom.
