16th July – North Borneo University College (NBUC) welcomed an official visit from the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), specifically from MAB Engineering Services. The delegation was led by Tuan Mohd Haizal Bin Abdul Rahim, Head of Engineering Training, accompanied by Tuan Nik Roslan Bin Nik Li, Assistant Manager of Line Maintenance Sabah Operations.
The visit aimed to discuss a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), focusing on the implementation of On-Job Training (OJT) for students in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and Aviation Management programs at NBUC.
The MAG team was warmly received by Dato’ Sr. Dr. Azimuddin Bin Bahari, Vice Chancellor of NBUC, along with Assoc. Prof. Gs. Almeezan Zahry Bin Acho, Dean of the Faculty of Aviation and Aerospace (FAA), and other academic and management representatives.
This collaboration is expected to strengthen the quality of industrial training opportunities, enhanced the employability of NBUC graduates, and continue to the development of the aviation sector in Sabah.
