
July 3, 2023 (Monday) The Alumni Unit, Student Affairs Department of North Borneo University College (NBUC), together with students and NBUC alumni, attended the industrial skills training program and career briefing session organized by Malaysia Rail Link (MRL), which is located at the Islamic Center of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
This program is a briefing session and job opportunity with the East Coast Rail Line (ECRL) project led by MRL. Through this briefing, a total of 31 NBUC students who will graduate this year have participated. In addition, the Chief Executive Officer of NBUC, Associate Prof. Dorrety R. Jiroh, Associate Prof. Noor Zaimah Binti Adnan (Registrar), Associate Prof. Almeezan Zahry Bin Acho (Dean of FAES), and Associate Prof. Steward Giman Ak Stephen (Senior Assistant Vice Chancellor) were also present in this session.
This program is expected to help provide more job opportunities to all communities, especially NBUC students themselves. Next, we can further increase the marketability of NBUC students in the future.
