30th October 2023 (Jakarta, Indonesia) – North Borneo University College (NBUC) and Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) created a historical moment after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding at the Universitas Multimedia Nusantara campus, Jakarta, Indonesia. This embark a milestone for fostering education and entrepreneurship development not only for both universities but between countries as a whole.

The purpose of this MoU is to collaborate in education, research and community outreach between NBUC and UMN. 

In the event, NBUC was represented by Dean, Borneo Business School, Assoc. Prof. Dasima Kalirab and Lecturer of Borneo Business School, Mr. Heri Ruthwiryo.

As for UMN was represented by Vice Rector for Relations and Cooperations, Prof. Dr. Muliawati G. Siswanto, Vice Rector for Academic, Dr. Friska Natalia, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Ibu Ika Yanuarti and Dean, Faculty of Business, Dr. Florentina Kurniasari.

Prior to this event, a group of 2 lecturers and 7 students of Borneo Business School, NBUC had a study tour at UMN campus and community outreach at Bogor, Indonesia. NBUC always look forward for global expansion and would like to express gratitude to UMN in welcoming us for the visit. Our upmost appreciation to Jabatan Ketua Menteri Sabah for supporting this event as well.
