Program Overview
Diploma in Cruise Management prepare students for employment in the cruise ship industry. Aside from inducing more knowledge in terms of theoretical side, students also will be able to develop all the necessary practical skills early in the programme in which they are able to able to operate quickly and competently within a cruise ship hospitality environment.
Entry Requirement
NORMAL ENTRY
- Possesses Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of credits in 3 subjects; OR
- Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of grade B in 3 subjects; OR
- Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) (Level 3 KKM) in a related field, and pass SPM with minimum credit in 1 subject; OR
- Pass Sijil Kolej Komuniti (Level 3 KKM) in a related field and pass SPM with minimum credit in one subject as well as through a reinforcement programme (if needed); or
- A certificate (Level 3 KKM) in a related field with a minimum 2.00 CGPA; or
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum grade C (NGMP 2.00) in one subject; or
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; or
- Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
APEL.A ENTRY
- Possess an APEL A certification from MQA for admission into Diploma programmes OR
- Malaysian; AND
- 20 years old and above in the year of application; AND
- Possess relevant previous working experience/ learning
